Nextcloud is an open-source software suite that enables you to set up and manage your own cloud storage and collaboration platform. It offers a range of features similar to popular cloud services like Google Drive or Dropbox but with the added benefit of complete control over your data and the server where it’s hosted. I wanted to have a look at Nextcloud and the steps to setup a own instance with a PostgreSQL based database together with NGinx as the webserver to serve the WebUI.
